In my mind it started to seem like a good idea for several reasons, but my life situation changed the work situation was unstable and I wasn't in a position to know where to buy land, etc. Mostly it was just a thought exercise and some sketches in a journal. For the last 10 or so years I have been kicking around the idea of building a house or 'camp' out of shipping containers.
